Jo-Co Pools has been building and servicing inground and aboveground pools in Southern Illinois and Southeast Missouri since 1989. The owners, Joe and Patty Cohen, have worked hard to create a company that truly cares for their clients and operates by The Golden Rule. That means we strive hard to treat each of our clients and their pools the way we would want to be treated ourselves, whether that be in new pool construction, servicing existing pools, or meeting the needs of the guests who visit our retail store to have their pool water tested or purchase a grill or a spa.

On top of those caring core values, comes a degree of professionalism that has been recognized by our peers. In 1994, Jo-Co Pools won its first Gold Medal at the Greater St. Louis Splash Awards. This prestigious award represented first place in pool construction among entrees within a 150 mile radius of St. Louis. Since that time, Jo-Co Pools has won 9 other Splash Awards. In December of 1996, Joe Cohen, our owner, was chosen as one of the eight Rising Stars of the swimming pool industry in the nation. Pool and Spa Age Magazine chose Joe over scores of entries. To maintain this level of cutting edge professionalism, our staff regularly attends continuing education classes throughout the country.
 
Finally, we are a local family business and are here to stay! Joe and Patty have been married over 30 years and have six wonderful children, most of whom work with us in the business. We believe a backyard swimming pool is a great way to strengthen the family and is part of the American dream. It provides a means for all ages to interact, whether it is for fun or fitness.
